Privacy

Short version: your mailbox files never leave your PC.

Who we are

Mailbox Rescue is made by Codeswop (Pty) Ltd (Reg Nr 2016/100745/07), 7th Floor, 38 Wale St, Cape Town City Centre, Cape Town, 8000, South Africa. In this policy, "we" means Codeswop.

The app

• Mailbox Rescue reads and exports PST, OST and MSG files on your PC. It does not upload, copy elsewhere or analyse your email.
• The app contains no analytics, tracking or advertising.
• The only network request is the licence check when you unlock the full version (and about once a month afterwards). It sends the licence key and an anonymous PC label (a short code derived from your PC, not its name) to our payment provider, Dodo Payments.

Purchases

Payments are handled by Dodo Payments, the merchant of record, which processes your name, email address, payment and tax details under its own privacy policy. We receive your email address and order details so we can deliver and support your licence.
